A Path Through Loneliness

Raah means “path.” At Raah Studio we offer counselling and psychotherapy for those experiencing loneliness and isolation—online and in person in London.

Loneliness can emerge at any stage of life—after becoming a parent, through relocation, in the wake of divorce or bereavement, or in later years when the world feels quieter.

Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Therapy is not about being fixed, but about being met. At Raah, we walk alongside you, offering a space grounded in empathy, authenticity, and acceptance, where you can begin to feel seen, understood, and more connected.

The heart of our journey

At Raah Studio, our partnership is founded on a shared commitment to self-acceptance, integrity and human dignity. We integrate our diverse backgrounds to offer a holistic perspective on therapeutic change. By fostering a warm, non-judgmental space, together we can navigate challenges that life brings.

Clients work with one of us individually, while remaining part of the wider ethos of Raah Studio.

Asna Qamar

UKCP MEMBER (Trainee) Person-Centred Psychotherapist

|Relationship And Family

Asna is a person-centred therapist who values authenticity, empathy, and unconditional acceptance.

Having grown up across multiple countries and cultures, she brings a deep awareness of individuality into her work. She understands the complexities of identity, belonging, spirituality, and culture and how these shape a person's inner world and relationships.

Asna has a particular interest in working with experiences of loneliness and isolation brought upon by life events such as bereavement, illness, parenthood, relocation or professional challenges.

In addition, she is a strong advocate for therapy in older adults as life becomes quieter and more introspective.

Asna has worked in a variety of settings, from short-term, focused work within the NHS framework to long-term, open-ended therapy that allows for deeper exploration. Her experience includes relationship and family difficulties, health and fertility concerns, loss and bereavement, and journeys of self-discovery.

Urszula Tondel - BACP Accredited Therapist

Urszula Tondel

individual member of the bacp person-centred psychotherapist | TRAUMA AND IDENTITY

Urszula works with experiences of loneliness, disconnection, and a sense of not belonging, with a particular interest in how these are shaped by trauma, identity, and intergenerational experience.

She spent many years working in education, including in leadership roles, which informs her understanding of how emotional life develops over time, shaped by early relationships, social context, and the environments we move through.

Urszula has experience supporting people navigating migration, cultural transitions, or marginalised identities, and pays close attention to how patterns of relating — often rooted in earlier or intergenerational experiences — continue to shape present-day relationships and self-understanding.

Her approach is grounded in careful listening and a sustained curiosity about each person’s lived experience. She offers a space to explore complex emotional patterns at a pace that feels manageable, supporting clients to develop greater clarity, connection, and agency in their lives.
